She enjoys working in Swedish Massage techniques, Hot Stone Massage, and Prenatal Massage. When not engaged in massage therapy, she loves hiking, knitting, and painting. She tries to bring this sense of creativity and adventure to all her work. Alison's own experience with massage began when she was studying abroad in Thailand. It helped to ease her stress and made it easier to enjoy the experience of being somewhere so different than she was used to. Years later, hiking from Maine to Virginia on the Appalachian Trail, she encountered massage therapists who again helped and encouraged her to pursue massage as her own career.
