How To Get The Most From Your Massage

  • Massage is largely for the purpose of relaxation and stress relief. Arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment ensures that you and your therapist will have plenty of relaxed time to give your body and spirit the attention they deserve. If you arrive late, there is a chance that your session will be shortened as a courtesy to the next guest.
  • Eating a large meal before your massage is not advised. If you are hungry or won't be able to eat for a while a light snack is best.
  • If possible wear or have comfortable clothes to change into after your massage. If you are heading back to work, you will be provided with a towel so you can wipe excess oil off before you dress. Take your jewelry off prior to your session so it doesn't get in the way of your treatment.
  • Please turn your cell phone off before you enter the center. This will ensure that your massage and others will not be disturbed.
  • Finally and most importantly, leave your cares at the door. Take time to be fully present for yourself during the time you are giving yourself. Be as good at being a client as you are at everything else you do in your life!
