Since ancient times, Steam Therapy has been used by traditional healing systems around the world to improve and maintain good health and beauty. Turkish baths, Indian sweat lodges, Finnish saunas and Japanese steam rooms are just a few examples of treatments that harness the power of steam. Hippocrates recognized that by creating an artificial fever he could halt and cure many illnesses. Steam bathing is recognized as an effective treatment for a wide variety of conditions including mild depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, nicotine addiction, hypertension, chronic pain, respiratory conditions, and cardiovascular disease.

Steam Therapy can be used as an adjunct to a massage or colonic. The steam dome is lowered onto the massage table with the head and neck uncovered. Cool clothes are applied to the chest and forehead to maintain balance and prevent overheating.

Therapeutic Hot Tub

The outdoor hot tub is available as part of our Couple's Massage packages and our Women's Groups packages.

The hot tub is located off the back porch of the center. We use a combination of Zodiac's Nature2 mineral sanitizer which reduces the need for heavy doses of chlorine. We also use a combination Leisure Time products called Renew and Reserve. Reserve is sodium bromide and Renew is the shock treatment that activates the Reserve. When reserve and renew come in contact with each other in the water, they create active bromine. Reserve by itself has no sanitizing properties, but when used as a system, they offer chlorine free sanitation.

The hot tub is available to rent for 30 or 60 minute sessions.
30 minutes – $49 per couple ($10 per hour for each additional person)
60 minutes – $74 per couple ($15 per hour per each additional person)
